"FRIDAY NIGHT FUTURES: NOAH TO NOAH & MAKI’S TAKEOVER"

NOAH TO NOAH | THE CONNECTION IS REAL

NOAH CALDERON AND NOAH ABDUL-AZIZ DOMINATE BOTH SIDES IN WEEK 1 VICTORY

Noah Calderon lit up Friday night with a performance that proved why he’s becoming one of the most electric young players in the city. Whether he was making defenders miss after the catch or flying to the football on defense, Calderon showed he’s a true two-way problem.

On offense, he was a reliable target all night—hauling in key receptions that moved the chains and flipped momentum. His routes were clean, his hands steady, and his effort unmatched. Every big play his team needed—Noah delivered.

But Calderon didn’t stop there.

On defense, he made game-changing plays that flipped the energy in the stadium. From tackles in space to clutch reads, Calderon was everywhere, locking in mentally and physically. His ability to anticipate and diagnose plays is rare at his level—and his motor never shuts off.

The man throwing him those dimes? Noah Abdul-Aziz. And he didn’t miss.

The young QB put his arm on full display—slinging lasers and dropping bombs with confidence and poise. Abdul-Aziz showed a mature command of the offense, spreading the ball and hitting receivers in stride. Each drive he led added more pressure on the defense—and he responded with calm, control, and elite accuracy.

The chemistry between both Noahs? Scary. If Week 1 was any sign, this 1-2 punch could be one of the most dangerous duos in the league.

MAKIYAH “MAKI” ADAMS | FUTURE STAR, PRESENT PROBLEM

While the Noahs were lighting it up, Maki Adams stole the show.

Already being talked about as one of the most explosive young athletes in the region, Maki turned heads and dropped jaws on Friday. From the moment he touched the ball, it was different—jukes, cuts, speed, and breakaway strength. He had defenders stuck and spectators on their feet.

What’s even scarier? He’s just getting started.

Coaches, parents, and players alike couldn’t stop buzzing after his performance—and for good reason. He’s a highlight waiting to happen. If he keeps this pace, don’t be surprised if his name rings out far beyond the Valley.
